Career Path

There are also many opportunities for BScN graduates to specialize in a particular area of nursing, such as paediatrics, geriatrics, or oncology. Some may choose to further their education and become nurse practitioners, which allows them to diagnose and treat patients independently.

In addition to working as a bedside nurse, there are numerous other career paths available to those with a BScN degree. These include roles such as nurse educator, nursing manager, and nursing administrator. Nurse educators teach and mentor future nurses, while nursing managers and administrators oversee the operations of a nursing unit or facility.
