The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Major S.D. Singh University consists of the Department of Geography, Hindi, English, Political science, Education, Economics, History, Sociology, Sanskrit and B. Lis. At the present time we are offering for postgraduate level we are offering M.A. (Geography), M.A. (Hindi), M.A. (English), M.A. (Political science), M.A. (Education), M.A. (Economics), M.A. (History), M.A. (Sociology) and M.A. (Sanskrit). The department offers academic programmed such as Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts (M.A) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). The faculty enjoys a good degree of autonomy, which is used to promote excellence in academics study, relevance and employability. The department is dedicated to the university's mission of teaching, research and service. By offering master’s and Ph.D. degrees in English literature it engages with the global intellectual traditions. Media studies continue to strive for excellence, and uplift of individuals and the society.
