Nexus Club
Introduction
NEXUS CLUB is a student-oriented academic, professional, cultural, and personality development club of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Major S.D. Singh University. The word Nexus means a connection or link, which reflects the club’s purpose of creating a strong connection among students, faculty members, academics, professional skills, innovation, healthcare awareness, and society.
5 Pillars of Nexus Club:
- N - Novel Drug Wing: New formulation, research paper, poster presentation.
- E - Entrepreneurship Wing: Medical store license, PCD Pharma, startup, funding.
- X - Xpert Skills Wing: GPAT / NIPER / Drug Inspector, Interview skills.
- U - Unity & Awareness Wing: Health camp, Awareness in Rural Areas.
- S - Social & Tech Wing: Pharma adda, Instagram, events, pharma tech (AI).
The club provides a common platform where pharmacy students can explore their talents beyond regular classroom teaching. It encourages students to participate in academic activities, scientific discussions, professional development programmes, cultural events, community outreach programmes, competitions, workshops, seminars, and innovation-oriented activities.
NEXUS CLUB aims to develop students not only as knowledgeable pharmacy professionals but also as responsible, confident, creative, ethical, and socially aware individuals. Through active participation in club activities, students get opportunities to improve communication, leadership, teamwork, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The club also promotes interaction between students and faculty members and creates a positive environment for collaborative learning and professional growth.

The Faculty Coordinator serves as the primary academic and administrative guide of NEXUS CLUB. The coordinator supervises the planning, approval, organization, and evaluation of club activities.

The Faculty Co-Coordinator assists the Faculty Coordinator in organizing activities, communicating with students, maintaining documentation, monitoring student committees, and ensuring the smooth execution of programmes.
