Boom & Bond Club
Introduction
The Boom & Bond Club of the Faculty of Nursing, Major S.D. Singh University, is an academic and clinical initiative of the Departments of Child Health Nursing and Obstetrics & Gynecology Nursing. The club focuses on promoting comprehensive maternal and child health through education, awareness, skill development, clinical learning, and community-oriented activities.
The club provides nursing students with opportunities to enhance their knowledge and practical competencies related to pregnancy, childbirth, women’s health, newborn care, child health, growth and development, nutrition, immunization, and family-centered nursing care.
Objectives of the Club
The Boom & Bond Club shall work towards the following objectives:

MR. SUNIL CHETIWAL
Mr. Sunil Chetiwal serves as the Faculty Coordinator of the Boom & Bond Club. As a faculty coordinator, he plays an important role in promoting child health, maternal-child care, student development, and a supportive learning environment. His role includes mentoring and guiding students, coordinating academic and health-awareness activities, organizing child health and maternal health programmes, and encouraging students to develop clinical competence, empathy, communication, responsibility, and leadership skills. He also supports students in connecting theoretical knowledge with practical and community-based nursing care. Through the Boom & Bond Club, he contributes to promoting awareness related to child growth and development, newborn care, nutrition, immunization, breastfeeding, maternal health, reproductive health, and family-centred care .

Mrs. Vineeta Rajput
Mrs. Veenita Rajput serves as the Faculty Co-Coordinator of the Boom & Bond Club. She plays an important role in promoting maternal health, women’s well-being, reproductive health awareness, and comprehensive nursing care. Her role includes mentoring and guiding students, coordinating academic and health-awareness activities, organizing maternal and reproductive health programmes, and encouraging students to develop clinical competence, empathy, communication, responsibility, and leadership skills. Through the Boom & Bond Club, she contributes to promoting awareness related to antenatal care, safe motherhood, intranatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding, maternal nutrition, reproductive health, menstrual hygiene, family planning, and women-centred nursing care.
